Forrest Ackerman	AKA "4E" and "4SJ". Foremost known collector of SF and related books/memorabilia.
Robert Bloch	Best known as the author of Psycho, the book upon which the Hitchcock movie was based.
J.W. Campbell Jr.	Editor from the mid-30s until his death, in 1971, of Analog Science Fiction (originally Astounding Stories [of Super Science]). During the 1940's JWC's editorial hand had a large influence on the development of such authors as Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, and A.E. van Vogt.
Martin Greenberg	Owner/editor of Shasta Publishers, one of the flock of small press SF operations active during the late 40's and early 50's.   Not to be confused with prolific anthologist/academic Martin H(arry) Greenberg.
J.C. May	Author of the Galactic Milieu/Saga of Pleistocene Exile books (e.g., The Many-Colored Land). Latterly married to (and now the widow of) Cinvention member Ted Dikty.
Judith Merril	Author and anthologist. Latterly married to, then divorced from, Cinvention member Frederik Pohl.
Wendayne Mondelle	Latterly the wife of member Forrest Ackerman.
Sam Moskowitz	Indefatigable fannish historian.
Ray Palmer	Editor of Amazing Stories during the 40's, then Fate and others during the 50's and after.
